Aquarius Latin for 'Of the Water'. Until the discovery of Uranus, it's modern ruler, it was the domicile of Saturn. In the body, Aquarius  rules the circulatory system and the ankles. It's symbol is the water bearer.

Aquarius is often shown holding an urn from which a constant stream of water emerges. This abundant flow is considered to be the water of the river Eridanus, an imaginary stream in Greek mythology which was supposedly flowing around the whole world and was thought of as the source of all life on earth.

With such a high-spirited and demanding task at hand, it shouldn't be surprising that Aquarius feels a great responsibility towards humanity.
